We had a big family dinner last night. It was fun to have everyone together. I loved taking lots of pictures to document the occasion. Our family wouldn't be complete without Amber and Cami and it was really lovely to have them here together in our home. I love open adoption. I know lots of people have misconceptions and prejudices about adoption and what it is all about. For us, it is all about love and family and choice. And one of the most surprising things about open adoption is how normal and natural it feels when we all get together. There are moments when I feel that our family and the way we all found each other is nothing short of miraculous.
